Senior Manager - Environment

JASARA PMC is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Senior Manager - Environment to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental management practices throughout our large-scale infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, promoting sustainability, and minimizing the environmental impact of our operations.

As the Senior Manager - Environment, you will lead the development and implementation of environmental policies, evaluating potential impacts and establishing best practices for environmental management. You will work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and stewardship in line with JASARA's commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies for various projects.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential risks and compliance issues.
• Monitor and evaluate project compliance with environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Lead efforts to promote sustainable practices, including waste reduction, resource conservation, and pollution prevention.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental issues to project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external partners to ensure effective environmental management.
• Conduct training and awareness programs to promote environmental responsibility among staff and contractors.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to environmental assessments, compliance, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental performance and implement effective solutions.
• Stay current on environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance JASARA's environmental management practices. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15 years of experience in environmental management, particularly in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and guiding environmental initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with environmental management systems and sustainability certifications is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
