Senior Manager, Business Solutions

Purpose

The Senior Manager – Business Solutions & Digital Transformation is responsible for leading the delivery and evolution of enterprise business applications and digital solutions that support EIA’s strategic, investment, and operational objectives.

The role bridges business and technology, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and digitally enabled solutions. Operating within a sovereign wealth fund environment, the role drives digital transformation, application modernization, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, while ensuring strong governance, integration, and long-term sustainability of technology platforms.

Strategic Responsibilities

· Define and execute the Business Solutions and Digital Transformation strategy aligned with organizational priorities and the enterprise technology roadmap.

· Lead digital transformation initiatives that modernize platforms, digitize processes, and improve user experience across investment and corporate functions.

· Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled enhancements that deliver measurable business value.

· Oversee the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring solutions are integrated, scalable, secure, and fit for purpose.

· Ensure strong governance over solution design, delivery, and lifecycle management in line with architecture and security standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Business Solutions & Application Delivery

· Lead delivery, enhancement, and support of enterprise business applications (e.g., ERP, Investment systems, and workflow platforms).

· Actively lead and participate in business process design and re-engineering, including the development of process maps, mind maps, and solution blueprints to translate business needs into actionable system designs.

· Translate business requirements into solution designs in collaboration with architecture, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams.

· Drive modernization of legacy systems through cloud adoption, platform consolidation, and digital enablement.

2. Digital Transformation, Automation & AI Enablement

· Deliver digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on process digitization, simplification &automation, supported by clearly defined process models and future-state designs. and improved information flow.

· Lead the identification and definition of automation and AI use cases, using structured techniques such as process decomposition, value-stream mapping, and mind mapping

· Support the integration of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., intelligent automation, decision support, chatbots, analytics augmentation) within business solutions.

· Ensure appropriate human-in-the-loop, transparency, and governance controls for AI-enabled solutions.

3. Stakeholder & Demand Management

· Act as the primary technology interface for business units, managing demand intake, prioritization, and delivery.

· Facilitate requirements workshops and solution design thinking and process discovery sessions, ensuring clear communication on scope, timelines, and outcomes.

4. Governance, Risk & Vendor Management

· Ensure all solutions comply with IT governance, architecture standards, cybersecurity policies, and data governance requirements.

· Manage relationships with application vendors, digital solution providers, and system integrators, including SLAs and delivery performance.

· Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews related to business systems and digital platforms.

People & Capability Responsibilities

· Lead and develop the Business Solutions team, building strong delivery and digital transformation capability.

Promote modern delivery practices, continuous improvement, and a customer-focused mindset

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.

· Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP,ITIL, TOGAF, Agile/Scrum, Digital Transformation) preferred.

Experience Requirements

· 12–15 years of experience in IT, business systems, or digital solution delivery.

· Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise applications or digital transformation initiatives.

· Experience in financial services, investment organizations, sovereign wealth funds, or other highly governed environments strongly preferred.

· Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-wide technology and digital transformation programs.

Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge

· Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, digital platforms, and automation technologies.

· Solid understanding of AI concepts and their practical application in enterprise environments.

· Experience with systems integration, cloud platforms, and application modernization.

· Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.

· Ability to translate business strategy into effective digital and technology solutions.

· Working knowledge of application architectures and integrations.

· Familiarity with programming and automation concepts (design-level understanding)

· Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
