Job Overview

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The role acts as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, driving HR strategies that support organizational performance, workforce planning, and employee engagement. The Senior HRBP will lead key HR initiatives, provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, and ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies while aligning people strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives and organizational growth.

• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.

• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances.

• Lead recruitment strategies and collaborate with hiring managers to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent.

• Oversee and guide the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.

• Support organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives.

• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements.

• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudization requirements, and company HR policies.

• Lead HR projects and initiatives, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder engagement.

• Support the implementation and review of compensation, benefits, and reward programs.

• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.

• Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to align HR practices and implement best practices.

• Coach and mentor line managers on leadership, performance management, and people development.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, Saudization regulations, and HR compliance requirements.

• Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Experience handling complex employee relations cases and investigations.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent professional HR certification preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role.

• Experience in the oil & gas industry or a similar industrial environment is highly desirable.

• Experience supporting senior leadership and managing HR initiatives across multiple business functions.
