As a Senior CyberSecurity Technical Engineer - CPS/OT, you will build, manage and operate security technologies in compliance to corporate policy and standards. Ensure security designs meet business requirements and address risk.

In this role you will:

• Lead the discovery projects and build high level designs to accomplish business needs while prioritizing cyber risk reduction.
• Manage the cybersecurity technology lifecycle from conception to service operation.
• Make design decisions aligning to security principles. Coordinate with internal teams to build support for design decisions and favorable risk reduction outcomes.
• Build technical documentation for cybersecurity technology designs, operations and support the creation of associated security technology standards.
• Facilitate the ongoing review of cybersecurity technology designs and alignment to industry best practices.
• Support the diagnosis and resolution of cybersecurity technology issues as a subject matter expert.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (considered a bonus), including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or specialised credentials in AI or blockchain security.
• 5+ Years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on emerging technologies, governance, and risk management.
• Proven experience working in cyber physical systems (CPS), operational technology (OT), IIoT, or aviation environments, from an IT and cybersecurity perspective.
• Good understanding of aviation systems, architectures, and technology domains, such as aircraft related and passenger facing environments (e.g. Aircraft Control, Aircraft Information Services, and Passenger Information & Entertainment domains), or equivalent operational domains in CPS/OT environments.
• Practical knowledge of industrial and operational protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, BACnet, MQTT, OPC UA, and comparable technologies used in aviation or other cyber physical systems.
• Experience with network segmentation and isolation strategies, including zones and conduits, boundary protection, and OT or aviation DMZ concepts.
• Hands on experience with security technologies and concepts such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM, PAM, SIEM, and monitoring or detection tools applicable to OT, CPS, and aviation environments. Experience conducting security assessments, vulnerability reviews and risk assessments for cyber physical, OT or aviation systems.
