Senior CyberSecurity Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions protecting systems, networks, and data. This role involves strategic leadership in addressing evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture for networks, systems, and applications
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and breaches
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Lead incident response and remediation efforts
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices
• Evaluate and deploy security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls)
• Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigations
• Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership
• Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–10+ years experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity management, and cloud security
• Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms
• Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+

• Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong logical reasoning and data analysis skills to address complex security issues and implement corrective actions.
• Communication and Leadership: Able to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences and lead teams through incident response and security improvements.

Preferred Certifications
