Job Description
Turner & Townsend is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Cost Manager, to join our talented Infrastructure team based in Riyadh, working on one of our major aviation programs.
SCOPE:
The Senior Cost Manager will support our commission leads in the contracts team in a pre-contract setting.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
- Support Commission Managers reviewing contracts in the pre-contract setting, and drafting contracts.
- Evaluating commercial aspects of the contract for tender submission.
- Negotiating contractual matters with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the drafting, reviewing and amendment of contracts and associated documentation.
- Ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective pre-contract contract management service.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience reviewing contracts within a pre-contract environment.
- Experience evaluating the commercial and contractual components of tender submissions.
- Experience working with standard forms of contract, with FIDIC experience preferred.
- Contract drafting experience would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction
- Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience in pre-contract contract review and negotiation.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, project management, or consultancy environments preferred.
- Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIArb, are advantageous.
- FIDIC training or certification is considered a strong advantage
