As the Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will serve as the primary visionary for our cloud-native banking platforms. Your mission is to bridge the gap between ambitious business goals and rigorous technical execution, designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective architectures across both Azure and AWS. You will be responsible for translating complex requirements into robust designs that satisfy stringent banking regulations and cybersecurity audits, ultimately empowering our engineering teams to build with speed, safety, and precision.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Cloud Solutions Architect:

• Architecture Design: Create comprehensive High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) documents for web and mobile-backend applications, prioritizing high availability and seamless Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Hybrid-Cloud Governance: Establish and maintain organizational structures across cloud providers, managing environment segregation via Subnets, Resource Groups (Azure), and Accounts/Organizations (AWS) under the Principle of Least Privilege.
• Network Sovereignty: Architect sophisticated network topologies (Hub-and-Spoke, Private Link, Transit Gateways) and integrate WAF/DDoS protection to ensure sensitive banking data avoids the public internet.
• Security & Compliance Advocacy: Act as the lead technical liaison to Cybersecurity, Data Management, and Corporate Risk teams, defending designs to ensure 100% compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and central bank mandates.
• FinOps Strategy: Drive the strategy for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization by selecting appropriate SKUs (Reserved Instances, Spot, Premium tiers) and enforcing tagging policies for departmental billing.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as the "North Star" for Platform and DevOps engineers, ensuring that Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) implementations mirror architectural blueprints.As an AI consultancy, our greatest asset is the expertise of our people.

Requirements

What we need from you:

• Dual-Cloud Expertise: Professional-level certification is required (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Network Engineering Mastery: Deep expertise in VPC/VNET peering, VPN Tunnels, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and advanced Load Balancing.
• Security-First Mindset: Proven track record of implementing Zero-Trust architectures, IAM at scale, and complex encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit.
• Banking Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience designing financial systems with a focus on audit trails, data residency, and risk mitigation.
• Modern App Lifecycle: Mastery of Microservices, Containerization (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS), and Serverless paradigms.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to influence C-suite executives while maintaining technical credibility with deep-level engineers.It would be great if you also have experience of:
