Senior Cards and Payment Developer

Job Summary: CodeNinja is seeking an experienced Cards Payment Consultant / Developer to support and enhance its banking client card payment operations. The candidate will have deep knowledge of Mada, Visa, and Mastercard networks, card lifecycle management, tokenization, and provisioning. The role involves working with Bank’s payment platforms, SQL databases, and Linux/Windows systems to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant card operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide technical expertise and support for card payment systems, including Mada, Visa, and Mastercard.

· Manage and optimize the card transaction lifecycle, from authorization to settlement.

· Implement and maintain card tokenization and provisioning processes, including digital card solutions.

· Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Shell scripts to support payment operations.

· Perform database operations and queries using SQL for reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

· Configure, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows environments hosting payment applications.

· Support card issuance, EMV migration, and card network certifications.

· Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement new payment features and ensure operational continuity.

· Ensure compliance with KSA Banks policies, payment network rules, and security standards.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Around 10 years of experience in card payment systems, banking, or financial services.

· Strong knowledge of Mada, Visa, and Mastercard card networks and standards.

· Expertise in card lifecycle management, tokenization, and provisioning.

· Experience with digital wallet integration (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay) is a plus.

· Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.

· Hands-on experience in Shell scripting for automation and operations.

· Strong SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, or equivalent).

· Familiarity with card network certification and testing processes.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Attributes:

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

· Knowledge of KSA Banks card products, payment platforms, and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
