Job Purpose
Assist in structuring, executing and originating Debt Capital Market transactions as a key offering within Mashreq Investment banking Division. A special emphasis of deal origination and executions on the CIS and Caucasus' region.
Key Result Areas
Origination
- Support the Senior team members with their active pitch pipeline, regular client pricing updates and the weekly update produced by the team for internal and external sage.
- Remain abreast of market dynamics and relevant news, on a real time basis, which may be of interest to clients
- Keep updated and provide the necessary information used in materials & databases of relevant information viz: issuance to date, news, markets, league table, other DCM related statistics to promote Mashreq DCMExecution
- Work with Senior team members on necessary DCM documentation
- Work with external resources to ensure a high-quality offering circular in the private or public market as warranted.
- Assist the team, DCM Head and Investment Banking Head in preparation of any internal pitches or materials that may be required from time to timeKnowledge, Skills and Experience
- Solid quantitative skills
- Solid presentation skills with experience of such presentations internally and/or externally
- A proactive and energetic personality with the ability and desire to multitask across both development and execution areas
- The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in Investment Banking and ideally Debt Capital Market.
- Additional language advantageous- Arabic/Russian/Turkish.
Requirements
- •Minimum of 2 years in Investment Banking
- •Experience in Debt Capital Markets (DCM) preferred
- •Solid quantitative skills
- •Solid presentation skills (internal and external)
- •Proactive and energetic personality
- •Ability to multitask across development and execution areas
Nice to Have
- •Additional language skills: Arabic, Russian, or Turkish
Responsibilities
- •Support senior team members with active pitch pipelines
- •Provide regular client pricing updates
- •Produce weekly team updates for internal and external stakeholders
- •Monitor market dynamics and relevant news in real-time
- •Maintain and update materials databases (issuances, news, league tables, DCM statistics)
- •Work with senior team members on DCM documentation
- •Coordinate with external resources for high-quality offering circulars
- •Assist in preparation of internal pitches and materials
