The Senior AI DevOps Engineer is a senior technical leadership position responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly compliant cloud architectures across both Azure and AWS for core banking and AI platforms. Operating at the intersection of enterprise architecture and automated platform engineering, this role translates complex business requirements into robust high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD). The successful candidate leads the institution's hybrid-cloud strategy, FinOps optimization, and zero-trust security implementations, ensuring all cloud-native platforms maintain absolute alignment with financial regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001) while providing technical mentorship to engineering squads.

You responsibilities within this role include:

• Hybrid Cloud Architectural Design: Architect and engineer secure, resilient multi-cloud infrastructures spanning Azure and AWS, creating comprehensive high-level and low-level technical designs.
• Security, Compliance & Governance: Implement enterprise-grade cloud governance frameworks, enforcing automated compliance-as-code and zero-trust network boundaries to meet strict financial regulatory baselines.
• FinOps & Resource Optimization: Establish cloud cost-management frameworks and resource optimization strategies to ensure high-performance infrastructure remains cost-effective.
• CI/CD & Pipeline Governance: Design and secure end-to-end multi-cloud deployment pipelines, embedding automated vulnerability gating, code auditing, and deployment compliance controls.
• Technical & Stakeholder Leadership: Act as a key technical advisor to senior business units and risk committees, defending architectural decisions and technical risk trade-offs clearly.
• Engineering Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level engineering and development teams, driving best practices in infrastructure automation, cloud routing, and identity management.

Requirements

We need you to have:

• In-depth technical architecture knowledge across both AWS and Azure environments, specifically touching identity ecosystems, serverless workloads, and database engines.
• Deep practical knowledge of designing architectures that strictly comply with banking standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, and local financial regulations.
• Advanced capability in drafting complex, modular, and reusable enterprise infrastructure templates utilizing tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Proficiency in structuring secure network typologies, cloud-native firewalls, private service endpoints, and cross-cloud secure mesh routings.
• Exceptional capability to articulate abstract technical architectures into concrete business value summaries for senior non-technical leadership.
• A minimum of 8 years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or systems architecture, with at least 3 years explicitly spent operating as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead across dual-cloud environments.
• Documented experience designing and engineering automated infrastructure within a regulated tier-1 or tier-2 banking or insurance institution.
• A proven track record of authoring, defending, and delivering production-ready High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) to corporate architecture boards.
• Experience directing technical workloads, establishing engineering velocity metrics, and upskilling cross-functional platform delivery squads.It would also be an advantage if you have:

• High-level certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, or advanced FinOps credentials.
• Conceptual or hands-on mastery over enterprise Kubernetes platforms (AKS/EKS), including automated policy engines and workload identity controls.
• Familiarity with deploying and scaling cloud infrastructure optimized for machine learning data pipelines, model registries, and LLM orchestration layers.Benefits
