Job Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Key account Managers with the goal of achieving Sobi’s objectives, drive market shares and accelerate portfolio growth with optimized resources. In parallel, this role will also develop key customer relationships, new opportunities and contact strategies to ensure we have clearly defined partnerships with mutually aligned deliverables and to ensure best in class in market execution to accelerate the growth off our products within assigned geographical area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Will be responsible for Hematology & Nephrology areas
• Responsible for achieving sales objectives through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development, and product knowledge development.
• Provide high standards of ongoing coaching/support for the KAMs so that they possess sufficient medical and technical skills to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
• Recruitment & hiring & selection of proper candidates.
• Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant agents.
• Local distributor follow-up and Management.
• Provide genuine feedback to others on their performance. Help others identify & prioritize their development objectives.
• Identify qualified & talented people in the Annual performance management & make accurate evaluations of people’s capabilities & fit.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, stake holders & partners across the organizations to positively impact business results.
• Identify & evaluate growth opportunities to maximize business growth.
• Create individual goals and long-term development plans for employees of their team, support their initiatives (project work, interaction with other departments and regional teams, etc.) to improve their skills and prepare for new roles in the company.
• Align the company's strategy with the team’s work plans and ensure its full implementation in the region.
• Build and implement on the territory Action Plans to increase the effectiveness of the regional team in accordance with the Company's marketing strategy.
• Maintain highest ethical standards and work in a spirit of Code of Ethics, following rules & norms set by corporate policies
• Proactively monitor and analyse sales, activity data and territory performance, working with the BUD to address any issues and capture opportunities identified through this analysis. Provide regular reports as defined by BUD.Principal Interfaces / Relationships
Internal:
• Leadership of the Regional BU, including KAMs, BU Product Manager, MSMs and Support Staff
• Cross functional team based in Global office and local affiliate management and staffExternal:
• Clinical treaters, nurses and biomedical scientists, pharmacists as needed plus appropriate required relationships with agreed local market access stakeholders
• Opinion leaders and decision makers including local patient organizations
Qualifications
Education/Learning Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a medical field (Pharmacy, Medicine)Work Experience
• Experience within assigned geographical area of responsibility
• 4-6 years Sales experience in Pharmaceutical Industry within assigned geographical area of responsibility
• Experience in rare diseases field, Hematology, Nephrology, Oncology preferred.Skills/Knowledge
• Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word…etc.)
• Ability to Manage diversified portfolio and business complexity.
• Proven track record of achievements & demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales Budget.
• Knowledge of the local health systems and decision-making processes
• Operational Discipline to execute the aligned plans.
• Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic
