We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join Deewan's growing sales team in Riyadh. This is a pure hunting role, as a single contributer,. Your primary mission is to identify, engage, and close new medium to large customers for Deewan's CPaaS and SaaS communication solutions.
You will leverage your existing market knowledge, industry network, and consultative selling skills to open new doors and build a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives on the thrill of winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development (Core Focus)
- Proactively hunt, identify, and acquire new medium to large clients across target sectors (Banking, Fintech, Government, Healthcare, Retail, etc.)
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and market intelligence
- Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored CPaaS/SaaS solutions that address each prospect's specific communication challenges
- Own the full sales cycle β from first contact through to contract signatureSales Targets & Revenue
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business revenue targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular forecasts using CRM tools
- Report on sales activity, pipeline health, and deal progress to the Head of SalesConsultative Selling & Solution Alignment
- Develop a deep understanding of Deewan's product portfolio and articulate clear value propositions to C-level and senior decision-makers
- Map client business needs to Deewan solutions and collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, product, delivery) to craft compelling proposalsMarket Intelligence
- Stay up to date with trends, competitors, and regulatory developments in the Saudi CPaaS/SaaS landscape
- Share market insights and prospect feedback with leadership to inform product and go-to-market strategyContract Negotiation & Closing
- Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements on terms that are favorable for both the client and Deewan
- Ensure smooth handover to account management and delivery teams post-signatureRequirements
Required
- Minimum 2β5 years of proven new business (hunter) sales experience in CPaaS, SaaS, Telecommunications, or a closely related technology sector
- Strong, demonstrable track record of selling to medium to large clients in Saudi Arabia
- Deep familiarity with the KSA market: key sectors, buying behaviors, and decision-making processes
- Existing network of medium to large account contacts in the KSA market is a strong advantage
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesPreferred
- Prior exposure to CPaaS products such as SMS, WhatsApp Business, RCS, OTP, voice, or omnichannel communication platforms
- Arabic & English language proficiency (spoken and written)
- Experience working with government, banking, fintech, or healthcare sectors in KSASkills & Competencies
- Hunter mentality β self-motivated, tenacious, and hungry to win new business
- Excellent consultative selling and solution-mapping abilities
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Arabic and/or English
- Ability to engage and influence at C-level and senior stakeholder levels
- High commercial acumen and ability to build a business case for clients
- Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills β ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Ethical, professional, and a strong team player Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field
- A relevant professional certification or MBA is a plus, but not mandatory
