Job Summary:

Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? Are you an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with a strong engineering or commercial qualification and a proven track record within sales roles? Do you have a background in After sales or calibration industries? By joining us in Doha, Qatar as Field Sales Engineer, you will become part of the Life Cycle Sales team.

This role is essential for primarily developing, as well as maintaining and improving direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined "Go to Market" philosophy. By engaging with our customers, you will work towards delivering the company's ambitious growth targets. The focus is on selling and promoting products, services and solutions offered by the Measurement Solutions Business Unit in our new service center facility.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

•
Manage End User accounts (Refining, Oil & Gas, Life Science, Chemical) and OEM / EPC customers in Middle East & Africa (Specially Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan) to achieve the agreed orders, sales and profitability targets.

•
Promote the sale of Emerson’s products & services & strategically negotiate, keeping in mind long term opportunities in line with Life Cycle Sales Organization.

•
Manage and further develop Emerson’s market position with Measurement Solution Service center Portfolio by understanding the customer’s business drivers & goals and keeping up-to-date with their situations.

•
Prepare and support Sales Lead for an annual booking budget by product / value / period.

•
Provide information to internal departments so that quote generation can take place without delay to maximize the potential of the sales lead

•
Maintain a opportunity list and Site plans for the assigned account in CRM.

•
Participate in relevant industry events.

•
Liaising and collaborating with Operational team

•
Carry out site surveys, audits and assessment of Emerson installed base for Calibration and Spare needs.

•
Update of CRM on daily basis by driving Quote to Order follow up process

•
Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For this Role, You Will Need:

•
Qualified to a minimum of degree level in an Engineering discipline

•
Proven sales / business development experience of minimum 2-5 years in a commercial role

•
Exposure to industrial automation environment (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science, refining), with a good technical understanding

•
Have a good knowledge of Measurement Products (application, service & operation)

•
CRM & MS Office tools

•
Willingness to travel regionally and internationally

•
Driver’s license

•
Ability to communicate effectively. Must be proficient in the English language and preferably Arabic.

•
Long and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
