Overview of the role:

The Sales Assistant is responsible for driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience, along with performing various operational tasks assigned by the store management team.

What you will do:

• Store Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment by upholding store standards and cleanliness.

• Excellent Customer Service: Create a welcoming first impression for customers through an enthusiastic attitude and adherence to the dress code.

• Greet customers promptly upon entering the store with a warm and genuine welcome.

• Provide customers with accurate and relevant product information.

• Express sincere appreciation to all customers as they leave the store and encourage their return.

• Quality: Deliver high-quality service in fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, maintain the cleanliness of the cash wrap area, and seek opportunities to enhance sales.

• Administrative: Perform efficient service at the cash wrap, promote gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and accurately capture customer information in the database.
Required Skills to be successful:

• Extensive experience in sales, marketing, operations, and retail or brand management, particularly within the fashion industry.

• Strong knowledge of the market, brand positioning, and trends.

• Understanding of current economic conditions, potential risks, and competitive landscape.
What equips you for the role:

• Minimum Qualification and Knowledge: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience: At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
Job-Specific/Technical Skills:

• Effective verbal communication skills

• Ability to perform some heavy lifting

• Capability to stand for at least 8 hours

• Strong customer service orientation
