About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Room Care Technician – Engineering to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Understand guestroom-related issues, take the necessary equipment and assess and fix problems efficiently.
• Perform maintenance tasks in rooms, including electrical, furniture, and basic repair jobs.
• Handle guests and team inquiries professionally and resolve room care complaints promptly.
• Complete assigned work orders, room inspections, and document all tasks performed.
• Choose the correct tools and parts from stores and maintain accurate usage logs.
• Report observed room damages to supervisors and recommended appropriate solutions.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 1 – 2 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.About the Benefits
