Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Management Manager to join our PMCM team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our metro and construction projects. You will work collaboratively with project teams to develop comprehensive risk management strategies, ensure organizational compliance with risk protocols, and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, decisive decision-making skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of risk governance.
- Identify, assess, and analyze project risks using established risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize project impact
- Monitor, track, and report on risk indicators and key performance metrics throughout project lifecycles
- Maintain and update comprehensive risk registers and risk databases for all active projects
- Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with organizational standards
- Prepare detailed risk reports and documentation for project stakeholders and senior management
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into project planning
- Provide expert guidance and training to project teams on risk management best practices
- Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to risk management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in risk management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or metro projects
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000 and PMBOK
- Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, analysis, and quantification methodologies
- Proficiency with risk management software platforms and tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing risk across large-scale, complex projects
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with metro, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification
- Experience with enterprise risk management systems
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards
