Overview Of The Role:

• The Retail Sales Representative is pivotal in generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience. The role involves maintaining store standards, assisting with store operations, and enhancing customer service. Success in this role is characterized by meeting sales goals, ensuring a clean and organized environment, and complying with company procedures. The representative contributes to a positive brand image and effectively manages product information and pricing to enhance customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Provide a high level of customer service at all times, both internal and external.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business like greeting.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invite them back.
• Assist customers by providing current and relevant information about products.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms and follow up with customers in a timely manner.

Sales and Store Operations

• Assist with the day-to-day store operations including opening and closing, and cover for Store Manager as needed.
• Train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and manage corrective actions at the POS.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
• Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.

Store Standards and Compliance

• Maintain store standards and cleanliness, creating a sparkling clean and organized environment.
• Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to protect against any loss.
• Adhere to dress code and create a positive first impression for customers.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Maintain cash wrap cleanliness and ensure efficient service at the cash wrap.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to maintain high store standards and cleanliness.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail sales.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to handle some heavy lifting.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours during shifts.
