Overview Of The Role:

• The Retail Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position involves maintaining store standards and cleanliness, greeting and assisting customers, and supporting store operations. You will be tasked with delivering high levels of service, ensuring compliance with pricing and ticketing, and handling point-of-sale operations. You will also assist in training new staff and supporting the Store Manager in running the store effectively.
What You Will Do:

Customer Interaction

• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a warm and sincere greeting.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times, both internal and external.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
• Assist and advise customers in a professional manner by being knowledgeable about product categories.

Sales Operations

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations including opening, closing, and store management cover.
• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager if required.
• Provide quality service in fitting rooms and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, and capture customer information in the database.
• Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to protect against any loss related to incorrect pricing.

Training and Support

• Train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and be responsible for corrective action at the POS.
• Handle any customer issues arising at the POS to ensure uninterrupted smooth customer service.

Operational Duties

• Participate in and attend all store meetings and functions.
• Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.
• Participate in all inventories and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Work flexibly and collaboratively with peers and management to complete duties.
• Follow company policies and procedures 100%.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage store operations independently.
• Knowledge in handling point-of-sale systems.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Capability to perform some heavy lifting.
• An eye for fashion trends.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
