Organization Unit Purpose

The unit is responsible for acquiring new payroll business for the Retail Bank, managing relationships, and driving the growth of the retail portfolio. It serves as a key channel for onboarding new-to-bank customers and identifying opportunities to provide Shari’a-compliant products including Credit Cards, Auto Loans and Personal Finance solutions. Our goal is to enhance financial well-being, build lasting relationships, and drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service and personalized Islamic banking solutions.

Job Purpose

Sales Banking role drives the acquisition and growth of retail banking relationships by promoting Personal Finance, Auto Finance, and Credit Card products. The role focuses on building strong partnerships, understanding employees’ financial needs, and delivering tailored Shari’a -compliant tailored banking solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets for Emirates Islamic Bank

What You Will Be Doing

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned corporate partners and individual clients to promote Shari’a-compliant products, including Personal Finance, Credit Cards, and Auto Loans.

Business Development: Identify new corporate accounts and individual opportunities for onboarding customers seeking specialized financing solutions.

Targeted Cross-selling: Achieve Cross selling targets of non-assigned products and services to contribute to the revenues and market presence.

Compliance & Protection: Comply with all approved policies, procedures, and Islamic banking norms to protect the organizations and the customer’s interests throughout the loan and card application process.

Service Excellence & Targets: Remain accountable for achieving sales targets for Personal Finance, Credit Cards and Auto Loans while ensuring high standards of customer service and monitoring client satisfaction levels.

Market Awareness: Stay updates on market trends, competitor offerings for financing products, and evolving customer needs within the UAE retail banking sector.

Expert Advisory: Provide professional and expert advice on Personal Finance, Credit Card and Auto Loan products to customers ensuring all business leads are effectively realized.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or its equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ UAE banking sales experience
  • Possesses in depth knowledge of the various dimensions of the market industry and good understanding of policies & their implications.
  • Has the ability to explore new markets and customers within the assigned territory to enhance sales volumes.
  • Has proven record in achieving Cross selling targets of non-assigned products and services to contribute to the revenues and market presence.
  • Experience in creating and building customer awareness about new products through mailers, personal visits to prospective business.
  • Excellent communication skills, result oriented, analytical thinking, capable of developing others, good public relations, perseverance.
