Job Description

The Digital Transformation Research Center (DTRC) at Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies invites applications invites applications for a full-time research position at the rank of Research Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in research, contribute to high-quality teaching and supervision, secure competitive external funding, and actively engage in academic, industry, and community partnerships aligned with the University’s strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Scholarly Contribution

• Conduct high-impact research in areas related to organizational digital transformation, digital innovation, artificial intelligence in business, business analytics, or related domains.

• Publish in leading international journals (Scopus-indexed Q1/top 10%, and/or ABS 3/4).

• Present research at reputable national and international conferences.

• Develop joint research projects with industry partners.

• Establish and sustain international research collaborations.

• Deliver high-quality lectures and workshops at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

• Supervise master’s and doctoral students’ research projects and dissertations.

• Contribute to curriculum development in areas related to digital transformation and analytics.

• Develop and submit competitive external research grant proposals.

• Secure and manage external research funding to support the Center’s strategic research agenda.

• Organize and coordinate academic workshops, seminars, and conferences.

• Foster collaborations with industry, government entities, and international research institutions.

• Contribute to enhancing the visibility, reputation, and strategic development of the DTRC and Ajman University.

• Ph.D. in Business & Management or a closely related field from a reputable, internationally recognized institution.

• Strong publication record in high-impact Scopus- and/or ABS-indexed journals.

• Demonstrated research impact (e.g., citations, h-index appropriate to rank).

• Proven experience in teaching and supervising students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

• Experience in securing and managing external research funding is highly desirable (required for senior ranks).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in quantitative data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Mplus, LISREL, R, Python) and/or qualitative analysis software (e.g., NVivo).

• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary and international research environments.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
