About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Director of Engineering to join Madinat Jumeirah.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the full cycle engineering and development projects across the resort, ensuring each initiative strengthens operational performance, elevates guest experience and protects long‑term asset value.
• Drive the resort’s sustainability and energy‑efficiency agenda by optimising utility performance, setting reduction targets and implementing innovative, cost‑efficient engineering solutions.
• Oversee multi‑property project governance and financial alignment, managing capex and FF&E priorities in close collaboration with Finance and hotel leadership to ensure disciplined budgeting and timely delivery.
• Act as the strategic link between operations, corporate functions and ownership, securing approvals, resolving barriers and ensuring smooth coordination with Jumeirah Design Services, Dubai Holding and Asset Management.
• Safeguard excellence in resort infrastructure, technical operations and life‑safety compliance by overseeing critical shared assets including chiller plants, transport, beaches, lagoons, landscaping, pest control and animal welfare.
• Represent Engineering at senior leadership forums, delivering insights, progress updates, risk assessments and strategic recommendations that inform enterprise‑level decisions.About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 14+ years of progressive engineering leadership, with at least 8–10 years in senior roles leading multi‑asset, multi‑discipline engineering operations in complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality, large‑scale mixed‑use developments, or resort operations
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management; certifications in sustainability or project management (LEED, PMP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or related field
• Deep understanding of sustainability, decarbonization, and energy‑efficiency programs.About the Benefits
