Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Trailer Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration units installed on refrigerated trailers (reefers).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigerated trailers and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system faults.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, sensors, and control systems.
- Repair refrigerant leaks and recharge systems.
- Conduct routine service activities including oil and filter changes.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues.
- Maintain repair and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology.
- 2–5 years of related experience.
- Experience with Thermo King or Carrier Transicold units preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control systems. Required Skills
