Job Title
Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Role Purpose
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is tasked with managing all government-related procedures, documentation, and liaison activities. This role ensures complete adherence to UAE labor laws, immigration policies, and government regulations, facilitating seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Government & Legal Liaison
• Serve as the primary contact for government bodies such as MOHRE, Immigration, GDRFA, Free Zones, and Municipalities.
• Manage the processing of employment visas, residence permits, Emirates IDs, labor cards, and work permits.
• Oversee company trade licenses, permits, and official registrations.Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare, submit, and track all government applications and approvals.
• Keep precise records of visas, licenses, contracts, and official documents.
• Ensure conformity with UAE labor laws and government regulations.Employee & Corporate Support
• Assist employees with visa renewals, cancellations, and governmental formalities.
• Support legal documentation during onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate medical examinations, fingerprinting, and Emirates ID procedures.Administration & Coordination
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Administration departments to meet documentation requirements.
• Monitor expiry dates of visas, licenses, and permits, and initiate renewal processes promptly.
• Assist with audits and inspections conducted by government authorities.Reporting & Record Management
• Compile status reports concerning visas, licenses, and government-related activities.
• Maintain confidential records ensuring data accuracy.
• Keep management informed of regulatory updates and compliance requirements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Prompt processing of visas and government documentation.
• Adherence to UAE labor and immigration regulations.
• Precision and organization of official records.
• Minimization of delays and penalties.
• High levels of employee and management satisfaction.Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience as a PRO within the UAE.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government portals.
• Experience working with both Free Zones and Mainland authorities.Skills & Competencies
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
