The opportunity

Project Engineer with support to project team is responsible for the successful execution/delivery of assigned projects on time, with budget with on quality & safety framework of Hitachi Energy.

How you’ll make an impact

• Ensure to Comply with HSE requirement and Hitachi working values. 
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with Head of Projects/Operation Manager and other project participants to provide and project updates.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. 
• Coordinate with SCM, and FSM to assign the resources requirements. 
• Ensure to deliver the project as per company KPI and assigned to him. 
• Support the FSE and project team to deliver the service on time and on budget. 
• Support for site activities and provide appropriate corrective actions for onsite issues.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal communication, team working skills combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in High Voltage Electrical Substations and projects managing.
• Able to establish good relationships with the customers.
• PMP certificate, L6S certificate will be a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.
