Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Project Director - PMCM (Project Management and Construction Management) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee a large-scale projects, ensuring their successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and resolving conflicts
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success
• Analyze project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality
• Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies and identify new opportunities
• Implement and oversee PMCM methodologies and best practices across all projects
• Promote sustainable construction practices and pursue LEED certification when applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree in Project Management or MBA preferred
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; additional relevant certifications are a plus
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management and construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects
• Extensive knowledge of the construction industry, infrastructure development, and local regulations in the UAE
• Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite
• Expertise in construction management tools, risk management software, and financial management systems
• Demonstrated experience in contract management and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure environments
• International project experience, preferably in the Middle East
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• In-depth understanding of PMCM methodologies and best practices
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic construction landscape in Dubai and the UAE
