Job Description

As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in accordance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

This role is fully NAFIS eligible. AECOM manages all registrations and contributions to the GPSSA (General Pension and Social Security Authority).

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.

• Identifies discrepancies in results.

• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• UAE National with a valid Family Book, in line with AECOM’s Emiratisation commitment and UAE Labour Law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) from an accredited university.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant engineering experience, internships, or academic project exposure.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, calculations, and industry standards.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to propose approaches to new or routine challenges.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in data or results.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work under moderate supervision while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or discipline‑specific applications).
