Principal Piping Engineer - Design (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Piping Engineer - Design to lead the piping design efforts for major projects based in Saudi Arabia. As a Principal Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of piping design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project schedules. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient piping solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall direction of the piping design activities within schedule and budget.
• Prepare plot plans, and equipment layouts
• Prepare and review design calculations, design drawings, and other piping related deliverables.
• Prepare/review MTOs.
• Review as-built drawings and assist with collection of design data
• Supervise a team of about 5 – 10 designers.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including the Clients.Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and/or infrastructure industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing piping design teams
• In-depth knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API, NFPA and ANSI
• Proficiency with piping design software including AutoCAD, CAESAR II, and PDMS or equivalent
• Wide knowledge in Plot Plan and equipment layout, piping layout and utility piping layouts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
