Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Instrument Engineering Specialist for our client ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our instrument engineering within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role
• Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements
- •Extensive experience in Instrumentation Engineering
- •Knowledge of relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- •Ability to coordinate and monitor engineering activities
- •Experience resolving technical issues with multiple stakeholders
- •Experience in performing technical reviews of engineering deliverables
