Plastic Surgeon Kuwait

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Kuwait. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cosmetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgical care, perform advanced surgical procedures according to their expertise, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage patients requiring cosmetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgical procedures.
• Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries according to qualifications and clinical expertise.
• Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs and expected outcomes.
• Perform facial aesthetic procedures, breast surgery, body contouring, and other cosmetic procedures where qualified.
• Perform reconstructive procedures following trauma, burns, cancer surgery, congenital conditions, and tissue loss.
• Manage complex wounds, scars, soft-tissue defects, and post-surgical complications.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Monitor patient recovery and manage surgical complications when required.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, general surgeons, ENT specialists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, consent forms, and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait healthcare regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency surgical coverage as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
• Minimum 4–8 years of post-specialization experience, including significant Consultant-level experience.
• Strong experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
• Proven expertise in complex plastic surgical procedures.
• Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
