Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our project team in Qatar - Ras Laffan. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, monitoring, and controlling project schedules while providing accurate progress reporting, schedule analysis, and forecasting for large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance.
• Prepare progress reports, delay analysis, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of activities.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support project management with planning, resource allocation, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders regarding planning and scheduling matters.Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of planning and scheduling experience in large-scale building construction projects.
• Proven experience in residential, accommodation, mixed-use, institutional, or similar developments.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (Advanced Level).
• Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Previous experience in Qatar is preferred; GCC experience will also be considered.
• MMUP/UPDA registration is preferred for candidates currently in Qatar and mandatory where applicable.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and scheduling principles.
• Familiarity with Qatar Energy requirements, major clients, consultants, and local authority regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
