Job Description

⢠Develop, review, and analyze project schedules, ensuring proper scope understanding, quantities, and logical sequencing of construction activities.
⢠Review and monitor the Contractorās baseline programme, procurement schedules, and construction plans, including subcontractors and utilities.
⢠Work closely with the Contractorās planners to track progress and recommend updates or recovery plans where required.
⢠Monitor actual progress against the approved programme and report deviations to the Senior Resident Engineer.
⢠Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including progress updates, graphs, and critical path analysis for the PMC.
⢠Identify project risks, delays, and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain the project schedule.
⢠Conduct site visits and coordinate with supervision teams to validate progress and ensure accurate reporting.
⢠Attend workshops and meetings to assess real-time progress and resolve planning/scheduling issues.
⢠Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in analyzing programme-related impacts of variations and additional works.
⢠Maintain detailed planning records to support evaluation of claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
⢠Assist the PMC in negotiations, arbitration, and other dispute resolution matters related to project delays or planning issues.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelorās Degree in Engineering or related field.
⢠Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience, with strong focus on Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects.
⢠Proven experience in construction planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for complex infrastructure/STP works.
⢠UAE project experience preferred, with understanding of local authority processes and project requirements.
⢠Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.

⢠Expertise in critical path method (CPM) and delay analysis

⢠Strong reporting and communication abilities
