Overview of the role
The PDI Foreman will act as the Single Point of Contact between customers, the Sales team, PDI/Service Operations, Administration, and OEM-related functions to ensure vehicles are inspected, prepared, documented, and delivered in line with committed standards and timelines. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Pre-Delivery Inspection process, ensuring job cards are closed on time, abnormalities are tracked and resolved, delivery documentation is maintained, and daily vehicle delivery status is accurately reported.

What you will do
•    Ensure timely and quality completion of Pre-Delivery Inspection activities in line with company and OEM standards.
•    Manage PDI job cards, including accurate system updates, timely closure, and parts tracking.
•    Identify, record, follow up, and ensure closure of vehicle abnormalities before delivery.
•    Coordinate with Sales, Service, Administration, and OEM teams to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready as committed.
•    Maintain accurate PDI, arrival inspection, and delivery documentation.
•    Monitor vehicle delivery status and provide accurate daily reports to management.
•    Follow up on undelivered vehicles, registration details, and pending actions to support effective delivery planning.

Required skills to be successful
•    Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
•    Minimum 5 years of overall experience within an automobile dealership environment.
•    At least 3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within buses or commercial vehicles.
•    Experience in service operations, PDI, workshop coordination, or vehicle delivery processes.

About the team
You will be part of the Service team, working closely with Sales, Administration, PDI/Service Operations, and OEM-related stakeholders. The team operates in a fast-paced, customer-focused vehicle delivery environment where quality, accuracy, and timely coordination are critical to achieving delivery commitments and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What equips you for the role
•    Strong understanding of automotive dealership, distributor, workshop, and PDI processes.
•    Technical knowledge of diesel engines, common rail systems, powertrain/driveline, electrical systems, air conditioning, and spare parts.
•    Good understanding of warranty policy, service guidelines, complaint codes, fault codes, repair operation codes, and parts consumption.
•    Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, CRM, or DBM systems.
•    Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage delivery commitments.
•    Proactive approach with strong accountability, ownership, and attention to detail.
