Operations Manager - Crusher (Quarry Plant)

Role Overview

A leading UAE industrial operations company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations of a large-scale Crusher / Quarry Plant in Fujairah. This role requires a commercially minded operational leader with deep expertise in:

• Crusher plant operations
• Quarry / mining operations
• Aggregates production
• Heavy equipment fleet management
• Plant maintenance & reliability
• Production planning
• Logistics coordination
• Operational efficiency & cost control
• HSE compliance
Candidates from ready-mix concrete plant operations with overlapping operational leadership experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Manage day-to-day crusher plant and quarry operations.
• Deliver production targets while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Optimize plant throughput, machinery utilization, and workforce productivity.
• Develop operational SOPs, systems, and KPI frameworks.
• Track output, downtime, fuel consumption, equipment efficiency, and operational costs.

Maintenance & Asset Reliability

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Improve uptime through proactive maintenance planning.
• Manage maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate engineering and workshop teams for asset reliability.

Commercial & Cost Control

• Improve operating efficiencies across fuel, labor, maintenance, and logistics.
• Manage plant operational budgets.
• Improve profitability through productivity enhancement and waste reduction.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules aligned to customer demand.

People Leadership

• Lead supervisors, operators, mechanics, drivers, and plant support teams.
• Build a culture of accountability, productivity, and operational discipline.
• Oversee workforce planning and shift management.
• Develop and coach teams on operational best practices.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with UAE HSE regulations.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and safety systems implementation.
• Maintain strong environmental and workplace safety standards.
• Drive a zero-incident safety culture.Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Mining / Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 10–15+ years of relevant experience in heavy industrial plant operations.
• Background in Crusher Plants / Quarrying / Aggregates / Mining / Ready-Mix preferred.
• Proven experience managing heavy equipment fleets and large industrial teams.
• GCC / UAE experience preferred.
• Strong operational, commercial, and leadership capability.Benefits
