We are currently seeking a Offshore structural Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose
The Offshore Structural Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and engineering of offshore structures for oil and gas projects during Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Brownfield phases. The role involves performing structural calculations, preparing engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with international codes and client specifications, and supporting multidisciplinary project execution.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design
- Perform structural analysis and design of offshore facilities including:
- Jackets
- Topsides
- Deck structures
- Modules
- Flare towers
- Bridge-linked platforms
- Subsea support structures
- Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and design documents.
- Develop and review structural drawings, material take-offs, and engineering deliverables.
- Conduct in-place, transportation, lifting, loadout, sea fastening, and installation analyses.
- Perform fatigue, seismic, accidental load, and pushover analyses where required.
• Ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil disciplines.
- Interface with clients, vendors, fabrication yards, and installation contractors.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure designs comply with:
- API RP 2A
- ISO 19902
- DNV Standards
- AISC
- Eurocodes
- Client and project specifications
- Support project quality procedures and engineering best practices.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Project Execution
- Deliver engineering activities within schedule and budget.
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation solutions.
- Support offshore site surveys, inspections, and engineering assessments when required.
• Assist in resolving field engineering and construction issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is preferred.

Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- •Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage
- •Experience in offshore structures (Jackets, Topsides, Modules, Flare towers, etc.)
- •Proficiency in structural calculations and design documents
- •Knowledge of international codes: API RP 2A, ISO 19902, DNV, AISC, Eurocodes
- •Experience in Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Brownfield phases
