As an Officer - Client Onboarding the key purpose of this role is to manage and submit all corporate and FI account opening and profile update processes. The individual in this role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate account openings, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The officer will also ensure accurate and timely submissions of the new account openings and/or profile changes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage end-to-end corporate and FI account opening, from document collection to account setup.
- Process and maintain corporate client profile updates, including changes to signatories, shareholders, company details, and activities.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of required onboarding documentation.
- Support business units in preparing and maintaining KYC documentation for onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Review and analyze constitutional documents such as MOA, AOA, board resolutions, and shareholder documents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, KYC standards, AML policies, and internal bank procedures.
- Liaise with Customer Fulfilment, Compliance, Internal Control, and Governance teams for onboarding and profile amendment cases.
- Monitor, track, and close pending onboarding and profile update deferrals within agreed timelines.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and recommend process improvements, account clean-ups, and data optimization initiatives.
- Monitor account performance through MIS and ensure accounts meet WBG qualification and revenue criteria.
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding, KYC, and client profile update activities.
- Support operational enhancements, workflow automation initiatives, policy updates, and other CB-related activities as directed by management.
