Awtad is looking for an Odoo Technical Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining the Odoo ERP system to align with our business objectives in the real estate sector. We seek an individual with a strong technical background in Odoo development who can leverage their expertise to create efficient solutions that improve our operational workflows.
As an Odoo Technical Developer, you will work closely with our functional consultants and end-users to gather requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot any issues that arise within the system. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our Odoo platform operates smoothly and meets the demands of our organization.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced custom Odoo modules aligned with business needs
• Define and lead the technical architecture of the Odoo ERP environment
• Analyze business processes and translate them into scalable Odoo solutions
• Develop and manage secure REST API integrations with internal and external systems
• Build and customize QWeb reports and business documents (PDF, invoices, contracts)
• Monitor, optimize, and improve PostgreSQL database performance and system efficiency
• Identify root causes of system issues and implement permanent technical solutions
• Plan and execute Odoo version upgrades and module migrations
• Establish coding standards and ensure high-quality, maintainable development practices
• Collaborate with functional teams to improve automation and operational workflows
• Document technical designs, customizations, and system changes clearly and accuratelyRequirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Odoo development
• Proficient in Python programming
• Experience with Odoo Enterprise
• Experience in custom module development
• Strong knowledge of Odoo ORM
• Experience with XML and QWeb reports
• PostgreSQL database experience
• REST API integration experience
• Experience using Git for version control and code management
• Linux or Ubuntu server experience
• Experience in ERP production environments
