- Perform essential life support as per regulatory requirements and scope such as but not limited to Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation etc.
- Participate in the development of standards, procedures and protocols.
- Facilitate evidence-based practice.
- Promote change in nursing practice when required.
- Take a proactive role under the guidance of Nursing Management/Nursing Education in training, education and CQI activities of nursing staff.
- Promote a safe learning environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform other professional duties as may be assigned within his/her scope and ability.
Requirements
- •Ability to determine nursing interventions based on assessment data
- •Competency in advanced or specialized nursing skills
- •Knowledge of current clinical nursing practice
- •Ability to perform life support (BLS, PALS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation)
- •Strong communication and consultation skills with healthcare disciplines
