Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to join our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team for a significant building project in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems installation and coordination, ensuring seamless integration with the overall construction schedule and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing MEP subcontractors, maintaining budget compliance, and delivering systems that meet all technical specifications and local regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage MEP subcontractors and vendors, including performance evaluation, contract compliance, and issue resolution
- Review and interpret MEP technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate MEP systems integration with other trades and building systems to prevent conflicts and delays
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and compliance records
- Ensure strict adherence to Saudi Arabia construction codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage MEP project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures
- Develop and maintain detailed MEP construction schedules, identifying critical path activities and managing timeline risks
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including the PMC team, contractors, and client representatives
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and design conflicts in real-time
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety compliance on the MEP work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in MEP construction management on commercial or institutional projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and installation
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, budget management, and cost control
- Strong understanding of construction codes, regulations, and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and MEP specifications
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with PMC (Project Management Consultant) delivery models
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage diverse teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of MEP systems coordination and building systems integration
- Ability to make decisive decisions under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with large-scale construction projects and complex MEP installations
Requirements
