The Mechanical Engineer oversees mechanical engineering activities including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and infrastructure systems to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and efficient execution
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review mechanical designs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and infrastructure systems.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities for approvals.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals.
• Monitor contractor invoices, claims, and variation orders.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in managing project budgets and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with SBC and safety regulations.
• Support value engineering initiatives.Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional certification (Saudi Council of Engineers).
Experience
• 6–10 years of experience in real estate development projects.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and villa projects preferred.
Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and safety standards.
• Understanding of building services coordination and cost control.
Skills
• Strong technical coordination and drawing review skills.
• Ability to analyze mechanical system performance.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
