Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing various mechanical engineering aspects of energy and water projects. • Implement and maintain quality control measures for mechanical engineering components.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with industry standards.6. Budget and Cost Management
• Collaborate with project managers and cost engineers to develop and manage mechanical engineering budgets.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure projects stay within budget constraints.7. Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of mechanical engineering activities.
• Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for project management.8. Stakeholder Communication
• Act as a liaison between the mechanical engineering team and other project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on mechanical engineering progress and challenges.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the energy or water industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
