Marketing Executive

Overview Of The Role:

• The Marketing Coordinator at Arabian Center Mall plays a crucial role in delivering superior turnover-driving plans and executing the marketing strategy. This role includes managing in-mall experience events, ensuring effective retailer relations, and overseeing all aspects of marketing operations, from artwork to customer experiences. The ideal candidate will support the marketing team in creating and executing promotional campaigns, managing budgets, and coordinating with suppliers to enhance the overall shopping experience. They must possess strong organizational skills and be adept at working collaboratively to achieve the Mall's marketing objectives.
What You Will Do:

Strategies and Plans

• Contribute to the development of the Mall annual marketing plan.
• Assist the Retailers and gain their commitment to delivery of marketing plan.
• Execute strategies, plans, and implementation for Mall's key campaigns.
• Effectively communicate with management to solicit buy-in and ownership.
• Assist in delivering post-analysis for all major activities ensuring agreed debrief template is used to communicate results and learnings. Share debrief and future implications with all key stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly competitor reports and debriefs.

Operations / Supplier Coordination

• Liaise with suppliers for quotations and coordinate installations and dismantling of signage.
• Work with agencies and suppliers on new in-mall branding or signage.
• Coordinate the marketing team to manage retailer store promotions and special offers mall-wide.
• Liaise with suppliers for branding and signage for mall and retailers.
• Regularly update other teams on market activity and provide plans and reports.

Budgeting and Financial Management

• Achieve economies of scale through sharing of best practices in the market.
• Deliver marketing activities and events within the agreed budget.
• Identify and implement cost savings in production and purchase of promotional materials and events items.
• Negotiate service fees with external suppliers effectively.
• Assist in managing purchase orders, accruals, and preparation of invoices for accounts payable.

Events & Promotions

• Support events and promotions operations as needed, including weekend and public holiday work schedules.
• Log event feedback forms and maintain events database.
• Communicate mall's activities and events to retailers and other support functions.
• Contribute to events plans and prepare logistics plans with timelines.
• Negotiate deadlines and fees with external suppliers and ensure they are achieved.
• Work with external suppliers to deliver materials, brochures, goods, and services.
• Ensure successful delivery of events within budget and receive customer and retailer feedback.

Social Media Monitoring

• Update the Social Media team with all events and marketing activities as required.
• Conduct internal events/campaigns briefing sessions.

Retailers Relations

• Assist in managing retailer relations for assigned retailers.
• Ensure all retailers' databases are up-to-date specifying all points of contact.
• Communicate all marketing activities to retailers.
• Organize sessions with retailers to discuss all marketing activities and manage expectations.
• Assist in preparing marketing plans for retailers that contribute to the main marketing plan.
• Project planning and develop PR plans with assigned agencies to highlight the retailers.
• Conduct monthly updates with new fashion stores/retailers and hold fashion retailer sessions to discuss concerns.

Digital

• Update website with relevant information and timely audits.
• Conduct social audits of content vs. competitors.
• Review effectiveness of social media activities.
• Collect weekly content and liaise with retailers for content.
• Ensure up-to-date information and prepare monthly reports.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• University degree with a focus in Marketing or Retail.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
• Knowledge of retail marketing, digital marketing, social media, and PR.
• Solid understanding of consumer behavior and excellent communication skills.
