1. Vendor and Order Management (Non-China):
• Manage and monitor Non-China vendors covering approximately 10% of total Non-Apparel production.
• Explore new sourcing options and renegotiate to stay competitive, Vendor onboarding, evaluation, and
product capability assessments.
• Oversee order allocation, follow up on production status, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Support vendor performance reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Sourcing Projects and Initiatives:
• Support execution of global sourcing initiatives, diversification plans, and cost optimization projects.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking for new sourcing opportunities outside China.
3. Vendor Scorecard and Allocation Management:
• Maintain and update vendor performance scorecards across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability
KPIs.
• Support allocation strategy and ensure data accuracy in relevant systems.
4. Sustainability, Compliance, and Systems Management:
• Coordinate sustainability and compliance reporting for Non-Apparel vendors.
• Ensure timely system updates and support continuous improvement in vendor compliance processes.
• Liaise with internal sustainability and compliance teams to align initiatives.
5. Vendor Matrix and Reporting:
• Maintain an updated Non-Apparel vendor matrix by category, region, and performance. Identify, evaluate
and select appropriate vendor mix to achieve business objective.
• Lead the release and review of the Non-Apparel monthly sales report, highlighting and tracking buying key
trends and insights, share with leadership to refine processes.
• Collect market intel via trade groups, shows, and field visits.
6. Cross Costing and Data Analysis:
• Support cross-costing analysis between sourcing regions and product categories.
• Consolidate and present findings to support decision-making on cost competitiveness
7. HQ Coordination and Representation:
• Represent the Global Sourcing Head (Non-Apparel) in Dubai HQ for meetings, updates, and interdepartmental
coordination.
• Collect key information and updates from HQ teams to ensure effective alignment between HQ and China
sourcing office.
• Facilitate communication flow and support cross-functional collaboration.
