Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Development and Task management
- Manage projects or key assignments as related to larger quality/compliance initiatives, including identification of key issues, analysis, development of hypotheses and conclusions and presentation of findings.
- Responsible for all areas of the Quality function and provide support within Operations
- Lead and develop the Quality Management system, striving for best-in-class products and business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations, managing teams and projects across the business
- Ensure that quality Strategies, Compliance and Processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market and in economically sustained manner
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the business to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards
- Facilitate Lean Business and drive Continuous Improvement across all quality related areas of the business in line with the strategy
- Identify opportunity and improve processes to operate efficiently and in support of global growth and speed. As a key member of the team, drive cross functional projects to support growth and to execute opportunities to leverage Group's scale
- Work to prevent customer complaints and rework alongside Supplier / Vendor and Operations to develop corrective and preventative actions within required timeframe
- Ensure effective audits of third-party QC agents to minimize quality issues
- Actively lead the reduction of Damage ratio, Warranty, Cost of Quality and in-house scrap and waste due to Quality issues. Manage corrections for total stock situation in the supply chain including claim and financial settlement.
- Develop a quality approach throughout the supply-chain with focus on legal compliance and product testing
- Develop new ways of working for packaging construction and new/ improved ways of handling the merchandise to reduce/eliminate damages across supply chain.
- Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, suppliers regarding technical support of their activities
- Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
- Evaluate the challenges and take actions to mitigate risk and develop opportunities
- Coordination with supplier, intimation of quality claims and timely recovery/replacement of goods.
- Managing workshop operations, driving efficiency and product refurbish.
- Governance on warranty replacement module.
- Managing local authority statutory compliance e.g SABER, ECAS, FCM etc.
- Timely clearance of quality product and optimize warehousing space.
Requirements
- •Experience in managing projects related to quality and compliance initiatives
- •Ability to develop and lead Quality Management systems
- •Knowledge of Lean Business and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- •Experience in managing cross-functional projects
- •Ability to conduct audits of third-party QC agents
- •Experience in managing supply chain claims and financial settlements
- •Knowledge of local authority statutory compliance (SABER, ECAS, FCM)
- •Ability to manage workshop operations and product refurbishing
