Manager Legal

Emarat is seeking an experienced Legal Manager to support the General Counsel in delivering legal, compliance, and corporate governance advisory across the business, ensuring strong risk management and full alignment with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters

• Review and draft agreements to safeguard the organization’s interests

• Handle contract disputes through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration

• Manage legal risks related to new business initiatives and operations

• Support legal proceedings and liaise with government authorities and external counsel

• Promote compliance with anti-bribery, AML, and ethical standards

• Advise on environmental, regulatory, and intellectual property matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (legal translation certification is a plus)

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in legal advisory, preferably within regulated sectors

• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance

• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and stakeholder relationships
