Job Purpose
The Manager, Leadership Academy is responsible for leading the design, governance, and delivery of Maaden's Leadership Academy, ensuring the development of current and future leaders in line with Maaden's strategy, values, and capability priorities. The role oversees leadership programs, learning pathways, and strategic partnerships to build a strong leadership pipeline and support succession, transformation, and business performance.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and execute Maaden's Leadership Academy strategy aligned with business and workforce priorities.
Build leadership capability to support growth, transformation, and succession needs.
Ensure strong integration between leadership development, performance, talent reviews, and succession planning.
Establish governance, standards, and operating procedures for leadership development programs.
Ensure compliance with Maaden HR policies, financial controls, and learning governance.
Continuously improve leadership development practices using feedback, data, and global best practices.
Design and oversee leadership programs, academies, and learning journeys.
Manage end‑to‑end delivery in collaboration with Academy operations and delivery teams.
Lead the development of leadership competency models, assessments, and learning interventions.
Oversee executive and high‑potential leadership development initiatives.
Manage external partners, budgets, and program effectiveness.
Lead and develop Leadership Academy team members and contributors.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on leadership capability and development needs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and leadership excellence.
Track and report on leadership program participation, outcomes, and effectiveness.
Monitor impact on succession readiness, engagement, and leadership capability.
Provide insights and recommendations to L&D, HR, and executive leadership.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
• Master's degree in Leadership, HR, or Business Administration is preferred
• Professional certification in Leadership Development or Coaching is an advantage
Minimum Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in Leadership Development, Talent Management, or Learning & Development
• At least 4–6 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven experience designing and delivering leadership academies or enterprise leadership programs
• Experience in large, complex, or industrial organizations is preferred

Requirements
