About the Job
Advise, lead, and manage the establishment, implementation, and monitoring of the Financial Risk Management Framework (FRMF) strategies and policies. Enable ADNOC Logistics & Services to enhance its performance and resilience with minimal or no disruption to the company’s exposure to Market Risk and Operational Price Risk.
Key Accountabilities
FRM
- Lead, develop, design, and continuously update a Financial Risk Management Policy, Framework, Manuals, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they are current and consistently implemented.
- Advise on integrating FRMF policy and strategy into ADNOC L&S business strategy and business plans, including risk management in investment decisions.
- Ensure the implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and controls for effective establishment of financial risk management processes for:
- Market Risk: Foreign Currency (FX) Risk, Interest Rate (IR) Risk, and Financial Counterparty Risk
- Operational Price Risk: Commodity Risk (Bunkers), Freight Rate Risk, and EU Allowance (Carbon) Compliance Risk
- Provide support and guidance to divisions and subsidiaries on the application of ADNOC L&S FRMF to ensure consistency across the business.
- Support management, department managers, and employees in identifying and evaluating risks and controls in line with FRMF.
- Establish and maintain a risk evaluation methodology for each risk category, ensuring all risks are compared against approved risk criteria.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date risk registers and ensure data quality in risk management systems.
- Lead and conduct risk assessment workshops to identify, assess, evaluate, and develop mitigation plans for business units.
- Support the establishment of a Management and/or Sub Board Price Risk Committee for periodic risk review and escalation.
- Identify and resolve risk management issues to ensure consistency in implementation.
- Support the Secretary to the Management Price Risk Committee and participate in other risk sub-committees, providing advice to members.
- Provide periodic or ad hoc reports and address key issues with mitigation possibilities to Price Risk Committees and Senior Management.Operational Plans, Budget, and Performance
- Develop and manage the department’s annual budget for FRM, ensuring alignment with division objectives and operational plans.
- Monitor expenditure, investigate variances, and ensure effective performance and cost control.
- Contribute to the development of FRMF-related KPIs and ensure proper cascade of performance objectives within the Treasury Department.Technical Tools & Systems
Experience with Treasury Management Systems, Market Risk Platforms, and strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Financial Modelling
Minimum Requirtments
• Master’s degree in Finance, (Maritime) Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline with specialization in (Financial) Risk Management and Energy/Commodities Trading and Risk Management.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in treasury, risk management, commodity/carbon trading.
Quantitative analysis of exposures, sensitivities, and risk metrics.
Scenario modelling and stress testing across multiple risk factors.
Interpretation of macroeconomic and geopolitical developments on financial risks.
Ability to link risk management outcomes with business performance sensitivity.
Requirements

- •Ability to maintain risk registers and ensure data quality in risk management systems
- •Experience conducting risk assessment workshops
Responsibilities
