Manager - Data Governance

The team provides and supports the systems that glue the business together. That means maintaining all IT from the most basic desktop support to the most complex flight information systems. What you’ll deliver

•You'll define and update data governance policies, standards and procedures aligned to DA and regulatory requirements. You will design and operate governance forums, decision-making structures and escalation paths, embed governance controls into business processes, systems and project delivery lifecycle.

•You'll identify and assign data owners and stewards across critical data domains

•You'll define data quality standards, KPIs and monitoring mechanism an oversee identification and remediation of data quality issues

•You'll conduct data risk assessment and maintain risk registers

•You'll promote adoption of governance practices across the organization & deliver stakeholder training, communication and guidance on data governance

What you bring

•You should be educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience), acquired 5 – 7 years of relevant & overall experience

•You should be Certified Data Management Professional – CDMP

•You’ll have 5+ years’ experience in data governance, data management or related discipline

•You’ll have an understanding of data quality, metadata management and data lineage principles & experience in conducting data risk assessments and managing remediation activities

• You’ll have the ability to design, develop and implement end-to-end data governance framework across complex operating environments

• You’ll have deep understanding of Data privacy laws and security frameworks

• You’ll have Data Management Principles (metadata management, data lineage, master data management and data lifecycle management

• You’ll have expertise in identifying data quality issues and driving remediation
