• Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity on reconciliation and exception management activities.
• Review the GL account reconciliations under the financial operations unit ownership to ensure timely action on outstanding items and ensure same are cleared within the agreed timelines.
• Effectively and efficiently use technology to bring in improvements and controls for reconciliation processes.
• Report and escalate ageing outstanding items as per defined timelines.
• Identify process improvement areas for development of underlying processes, reporting mechanism and systems to facilitate ongoing improvement in the operational processes
• Preparation of monthly AOV on the substantiation of account balances to GFCD.
• Ensure agreed SLA’s / TAT are achieved and maintained, with a constant focus to improvise and provide best in class service delivery for clients.
• Amortisation of prepaid cost to expense for the month.
• Preparation of financial vouchers for issuing & acquiring related requests.
• Maintain robust controls and procedures to safeguard financial and data integrity.
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of reconciliation principles (especially linked to payment industry)
• Overall understanding of the payment landscape across all participants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint etc.,
• Well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Ability to cope with and thrive in a non-routine environment and think creatively.
• Positive attitude when handling complex situations / problem.
• Ability to deliver results under pressure by collaborating with teams.
• Exceptional communicational skills, both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum Qualification :
• Bachelor’s degree (in Finance preferred)
Minimum Experience :
Minimum of 3+ years of working experience in a financial operations management, preferably within the payment industry
