Qiddiya Investment Company is searching for a skilled Manager - Catering Services to lead our catering operations, delivering exceptional culinary experiences tailored to a variety of events and occasions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire catering process, from menu creation and logistics planning to on-site service execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead catering operations governance across kitchens, dining halls, and food service points.
• Manage catering service providers’ performance, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, KPIs, and SOPs.
• Oversee menu planning governance, nutritional balance, portion control, and resident feedback loops.
• Ensure food safety management system compliance in coordination with the Food Safety Supervisor and Quality/HSE functions.
• Control catering operational costs through wastage reduction, consumption tracking, and process optimization.
• Ensure staffing, training, and competency compliance for catering teams and contractors.
• Lead incident management and corrective actions for food safety or service disruptions.
• Manage all aspects of catering operations, ensuring quality food and beverage offerings and exceptional service delivery for all events.
• Develop and conceptualize catering menus that are innovative, seasonal, and reflect guest preferences and dietary requirements.
• Plan and coordinate details for events, including logistics, equipment, staffing, and service requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
• Oversee the training and development of catering staff, ensuring they deliver high standards of service and professionalism.
• Monitor catering budgets, pricing, and portion control to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns to enhance catering service visibility.
• Evaluate event execution and gather feedback from clients and guests to refine catering offerings and enhance service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies throughout catering operations.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related).
• Professional certifications relevant to the role are preferred (e.g., HACCP/ISO 22000, NEBOSH/IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, IFMA, CIPS, etc.).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in catering/food service operations in large-scale environments.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multi-site catering operations or contracted catering services.
• Experience with food safety compliance and audits in regulated environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
• Creativity in menu development and an understanding of current food trends.
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis in catering services.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence.
