Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our projects by conducting accurate measurements, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports to support our construction and development initiatives.

• Perform land surveys using various surveying equipment and techniques
• Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points and reference ties
• Develop new data from photogrammetric records
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other terrain characteristics
• Coordinate with contractors and team members on work priorities and schedules
• Perform regular checks of contractors' setting out to verify proper execution and accuracy
• Maintain surveying equipment and perform frequent calibration checks
• Apply and implement all safety and quality control procedures on-site
• Monitor health and safety of construction works and report any violations
• Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
• Coordinate findings with engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other project stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
• Professional surveyor license or certification
• Proven experience in land surveying, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment, GPS, and GIS systems
• Expert knowledge of surveying software and data processing techniques
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maps, and specifications
• Understanding of local land laws and regulations in the UAE
• Knowledge of construction and engineering principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
